I've got the serious love for the new Clover pom-pom maker. This little item was an effort at a napkin ring, but it got a little too big. I think I'll use it on a gift when I get tired of having it on the paper towels! I have a feeling that there will be lots of pom poms at our house this Christmas. Pom pom garlands, ornaments, gift toppers, and who knows what else!

pom pom mania

Hello. As a Christian lady who also enjoys reading literature, I am discouraged by your quote: "I WISH WE DID NOT HAVE TO FRITTER AWAY ON USELESS THINGS LIKE LECTURES AND LITERATURE THE TIME WE MIGHT HAVE GIVEN TO MORE SERIOUS , SOLID, AND CONSTRUCTIVE WORK LIKE CUTTING UP BITS OF PAPER AND PASTING COLORED TINSEL UPON IT" - G.K.CHESTERTON
I understand that you see greater value in cutting and pasting than reading or studying, but for some who are childless (at least in this season), I think reading and studying (especially the Bible, which is also literature) is very valuable. Your blog and articles on motherhood are well written, but I think it would be wise to temper certain words. Thank you.
